...made it...

Well, first there was Katrina...
Then there was Rita...my turn...
Thursday, the 22nd of September, we got the mandatory evac at 10:00am...
Got to Wally World to get a trailer light kit for a boat trailer...
...used cordless drill to get lights mounted...tires have air, only 9 years old, pray they make it...
Stuffed boat with stuff insurance would not cover, and other stuff...and headed out, north...
The route we chose was to the north, a 3 hour drive...
WRONG...
Took 7 hours to go 20 miles...total trip time for a 3 hour drive...11 hours...
We made it though, my home still stands...and were back...
To those that made it, cool...
To those that didnt, my heart and prayers are with you...
