There are times in my world that things just happen...
Had to go and get smokes, yep, smokes, from a little store up the road...
As I came to the four-way stop, I noticed something just up the road...
...bails of hay...?...lost stuff out of pickup truck...?...not sure, didnt feel right...
I didnt turn to the store, went up to see...
...there, about 200 yards up was a pickup truck...
...rolled...totaled...
Got out and there was a man, on the road...he moved as i approached...
...dialed 911...it was bad...
It was about 15 minutes after the call went out to the emergency services, he was on the way to the hospital by chopper...
I was first there...
...may have saved a mans life today...
...by just being there...

I have noticed one thing that they all have in common...Governments....
All history has shown, and even now, today...when a group of humans get together, they choose a leader...
It seems that humans can not live and be happy without one of them being in charge...
True, it has appeared to me that when no one is in charge, the group starts fighting with each other, as each person trys to make the others live 'their way', and the group separates...
Some die in this action for some type of leadership to be placed...
...I have never understood this...
So, through human history, for the simple reason of survival, leaders have been chosen to 'govern'...
Many types of leaders to govern...
And so the term government was formed...
No matter how small, a tree clubhouse leader...or large as to a king ruling over large parts of a world...one thing always happens to destroy the humans way of life as they know it...
...'governing' changes to 'controlling'...
...and no human has ever been controlled without paying a price...

That is what a lot of people are saying about the help the victims of the hurricane are getting.
Some say there was a 20 year plan in place for just such a disaster...
20 years ago though, no one could have known the massive impact such a disaster would have today, nor how many people would be living there that had no way to get out even had they wanted to...
It is truly impossible to plan for and be ready for what is not expected, taking into account for all the variables and combination of multiple variables, and having them continually changing.
After Audry hit years ago, and the surge crested in south Lake Charles, the people went into action, and it was only one...save the living.
I know that happened with this one, your just not hearing about it...
It has also been 'rumored' many wanting to and trying to have been turned away...'its too dangerous'...
...and so, people die...
Its been on TV and radio since Monday, yet no one knew it was 'that bad'...

Many look back and ask, ...'what could we have done to prevent'... How about what can be done now to save...
