...big oil, the 'bad guys'...?
Ive been observing, from afar, this price of gas thing that has you Humans insisting that it is the fault of the American oil companies...
...you could not be more wrong...
Oil had two main uses in the beginning, heating and light, by simply burning...
...then came the internal combustion engine...
Oil could now be made into fuel for transportation and powering generators for electricity...
Then something happened that would change this little world forever...
...Scientific research of the black stuff itself...
What was found is that many other things could be made with this stuff...
...things that could make life 'easier', things that just do not exist naturally...
And every one, a consumable...
...millions of products, from chemicals to solids...
Remember now, it started out being used only for two things...
Heres a snapshot...
...lets go back a 100, 150 years ago...
...now look around you, what do you see or not see...
...you would have your home, built of wood/brick, shingled with wood, ect...
...your best horse, maybe a wagon for going to town in, ect...
...you would have all that could be provided from the earth as it could be in that time...
Now, come back and look at what you Humans have done with ONE earth made consumable item...
...you have made MILLIONS of Human made consumables that DO NOT grow or naturally replenish themselves...
...and then built a complete CIVILIZATION around them...
...to the point now that without that ONE item, your civilization will collapse...
...millions of products that are made from one, and they do not exist without it...
As for the big oil companies...
...they have reached the American dream...
They found a product that All must have and provide it to their customers...
...is it Their fault you Humans built your whole existence on Them...?
